Memorable personalities at SHAR, who influenced me

Here are the some personailites, whom i have met and learnt something or other for my life

Mr. SUBRAMANIYAM : One of the young Scientist. Though, his job is became routiune, day by day, he use to hang on it with more enthusiasm. But after 4 days of completion and on about for promotion, he resigned his job. On the personal discussion, he told me that 'when things become routiune, if it is not giving enough satisfaction and your position is going on increasing, you can become a holic. Then, you will be dictated and directed by the circumstances. Moreover, if to be champion enough, try to get on the updated one' with this he joined the IT field in 2000 leaving all his central government empolyee status.

Mr. KSN Murthy : He is Technical Assistant, pleasing and calm personality, working enough with the exact phase (like Dr.
Watson for Sherlock Holmes). Some of the peculiar qualities are accepting the things as it comes (not of compromising) but with happiness, and looking for the joy in silence also. His nature of speaking to the DGM and Labor is same, neither he on the praise side for boss nor on the humiliating side for lowers. Never thinking of the others qualities and work nature of others. At the end of the training I wondered how this person going to be in race of existence in a government organisation.

Mr. P. Balaji : The Senior Technical Assistant, very comfortable, calculative, time management is apt, rarely seen in his seat. Always be in the other departments and HR but equipotentially manages the boss and his colleagues by his personal attitudes.

Mrs. Laxmi Raman : Deputy Manager, an exact leader/boss of my department. Manpower management, getting out the work from the exact person is quiet common in her qualities. Ever studying at that age and position. Her smiling face hiding all the hurdles of a woman supressment in an organisation, she swings up.

My Work nature in the Government Organisation (SHAR)

Within a week i adjusted myself to the work culture,

Its something very strange, like Office starts at 08:00 hrs, after punching, i just used to go to canteen and have breakfast with my friends,, later on, we shifted the breakfast programme to the deep forest inside where a private shop with hot dosa is available (the main reason is the annoyance of  formal culture and rigidity in the main canteen)

Return back to be building, see some reports and let the time be on for 1000 hrs,, by when the canteen bus will come bringing tea and snacks, enjoying them and then waiting for lunch, which is at 1200 hrs,,

After lunch, a small walk along with friends, but here sometimes my friends were busy enough and will be roaming all through the department buildings,, i will walking back to my unit...

1300 --- 1500  :

This is the most critical time of the days in training, intially i was struggling enough to get in these hours,, after a few weeks, i got on the trick playing by the others  (i.e... a small nap with the eyes open)

and will be fresh enough with the tea and snack by 1500 hrs. and then winding enough by 1630 hrs..

Almost, this was my work majorly (dont think, i havent done or learnt anything). Majorly, many of the people lead their work in the same manner in our organisation.

In the above meantime, we used analyse the samples for their strength and properties and at the end myself was busy enough under the my Mentor guidance for my project report "Burning time delay and rate constant effects for solid propellant" (a fuel used in Rocket)

Maybe, because of the above nature, myself inherited the feeling the i should not work for a government organisation (appudedo uddarinchesthami anukonilendi)..  Beside, the above, Mr. Subramaniam, who was young, dynamic and strong enough technically, has resigned his job and joined a private organisation in Chennai. This impact made on me that i never applied for the government job.

Life and learning at Sriharikota (SHAR)-2

As we reached the main security gate, the bus has already left. But we are lucky enough that one of the bus coming from Sulluripeta (SHAR quaters) is little bit late. We boarded d bus and surprised to see that it is full and all our trainees! (hw much punctual we hv been). It's a long journey (nearly 20 kms)  from the secuity gate to our department and the journey was little bit hapazard (even though we were in d company side, we were travelling through the forest and rarely saw buildings and machinery and that too the buildings are surrounded in trees and spacious enough such that we cannot see the other building).

We reached our Department and met the DGM, who alloted us the units.

Saibabu- Inhibition Unit -- Building no 139

Srinivas-- Raw material Section -- building no 127.

Hari --- Drying Section --- Building no 124

So, it the time, we separated, and went to our units..........

I went to my unit, it was a long hall with 2 persons sitting on the chair each at other end, i greeted them and introduced myself, they welcomed me (one was Mr. Murthy(scientific assistant),, who is like Mr.Watson from Sherlock Holmes and other was Mr. Mallikarjun(scientist), near for retirement). They asked me to go to the other room, where i met Mr. Subramaiyam (scientist) young and energytic just from college. He took me to the unit head for reporting.

My first at my trainer (unit head) was surprising enough, Mrs. Laxmi Raman, fair enough, the pleasant smile makes comfortable for others but in the meanwhile the sight of dignity in her eyes reveals a deep immense command of a leader. I was a little bit hesitating to introduce myself, she asked me to meet after 2 days until to be with Mr. Subramanyiam.

here, one more person, whom i met late is Mr. Balaji, a Scientific Assistant.

Life and learnings at Sriharikota, SHAR training-1

my first journey- to sooluripeta

yes, that is the first time, i am starting away from my home, 6 months  in-course training kosam, SHAR (satishdavan space centre, sriharikota, nellore) ki vellali,,

వారు  వచినా, రాకపోయేన  వెళ్ళాలి. మావూరు  వదిలి  సుదూరంగా  వెళ్ళడం  అంటేనే  ఏదో  వింతగా  అనిపించింది.
